Louise Kichenside
Director / Principal Interior Designer

Louise shares Kier’s passion for the industry, so she decided to commit permanently to The Dept. in late 2015 by becoming a Director. She loves weekends filled with catch ups over wine, and shares Kier’s tendency to LOL until she cries (something in the water, maybe?). She adores a strong coffee in the morning and singing at the top of her lungs at red lights – much to the delight of other motorists. Oh – and she’s also our unofficial liaison with Australia Post (she doesn’t mind a good online-cart-filling expedition, you see).

At the Dept., Louise can be found developing creative design solutions to suit all projects from residential plans to commercial fit-outs; and she’s is really in her element working on concept design and developing new ideas. Louise works closely with the rest of our team to help inspire them, push their creative designs and ensure we always provide you with the best and most current design solutions.

Louise has worked in the design industry since 2005. She has worked for firms like Cox Architecture and Archertec Interiors in the ACT, and Pringle Brandon in London. Prior to joining The Dept., she also worked with Daryl Jackson Alastair Swayn in Canberra, designing for large base building commercial projects as well as retail and corporate fit-outs.
